Contact The Douglas Sanctuary for Cats

If you’d like to enquire about adopting, fostering or volunteering you can contact us using the form below.

If you are contacting us about surrendering your cat or looking for rescue space for a stray unfortunately, we are unable to help you. Please visit www.catchat.org for a full list of Rescues in your local area.

However, if you have concerns regarding a stray cat and would just like some advice on what to do next, we will be very happy to help you with this so please do get in touch. If available, we do have traps for loan subject to a small returnable deposit. If time allows and dependent on location, we may be able to assist you with trapping or find someone who can.

If you have found an injured cat, please seek immediate veterinary assistance, there are 24/7 emergency vets in Kings Lynn, Fakenham and Taverham should this occur outside of normal working hours, you should not be charged for this.

Before you get in touch

It’s helpful if you can include:

  • Your general location in Norfolk / surrounding area
  • The best way and time to contact you

We will endeavour to reply to enquiries the same day however the care and welfare of our Sanctuary cats is always our priority so during busy times this might take longer. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
