Layla

I’m Layla! I’m Tilly’s Sister and was born at the Sanctuary to Duchess. My Brothers have already been adopted and as Tilly hangs out with Iris all the time I hang out with all my other friends. You’ll know it’s me because I’m VERY chatty.

I like attention and when I see my humans I always meow and chatter to them jumping up for a back rub. I’m very affectionate and will often be seen lounging on a sofa or a bed watching the boys mess around. I like watching the action from a safe perch and I like being with other cats. I still like to go to my Mum for a cuddle every now and then.

Because I like attention I’d like a home where someone was around a lot, maybe working from home or just away a few hours a day. I’d really like to be homed with one of my friends but as long as there was a kind resident cat for me to make friends with I think I’d be OK.  I’ve never met a dog and I’d prefer to keep it that way unless they were very calm.

I do need an Indoor Only home. Access to a catio or cat proofed garden would be ideal but at a minimum there must be plenty of enrichment and as mentioned a human family that is around for long periods of the day. I’m fine with children, but older ones would be best for me.

Did I mention how absolutely sweet and stunning I am? That’s what my sanctuary Mum says all the time! I have the most gorgeous face (apparently) and a very lovely shiny coat. For some reason she always sings a song with my name in it by Eric Clapton and says my loveliness has got her on her knees (if you know you know apparently).  Anyway,  I’m 18 months old now and would really love a home of my own with a cat oriented family committed to providing me with the very best loving environment. Singing is absolutely not necessary.
