George and Jax are two incredibly special boys who came to us from the original garden colony, where they spent years living at the feeder’s home, coming and going together. Both are 100% sociable, gentle souls who have always relied on each other for companionship — and because of this strong bond, they must be rehomed together.

George (around 7–8 years old) is a calm, affectionate and easy-going boy who absolutely loves a cuddle and a good brush — especially with his thick, handsome coat. Jax (around 8–9 years old) is equally loving, with a wonderfully steady nature and the most incredible, deep purr. He has a natural magnetism that other cats are drawn to, making him a very reassuring presence.

Having spent years roaming freely — fed but never truly owned — both boys are now ready to enjoy the comforts of a warm, secure home and the dedicated love of their own family. They are mature, relaxed and easy in every way, and would suit a quieter household where they can settle and truly thrive.

We are ideally looking for an indoor-only home with safe outdoor access. A catio or cat-proofed garden would be perfect, but a very rural home with safe surroundings (similar to their previous home on a quiet, dead-end lane) would also be suitable.

Both George and Jax have typical colony cat experience and are very comfortable around other cats, so they could potentially join a home with existing feline residents. They are not dog tested, so any applications with dogs would need careful consideration, though they may be fine with a calm, cat-savvy dog. Due to their gentle nature, children in the home should be aged 10+.

They don’t require constant company, but would be happiest in a home where someone is around for much of the day — such as a retired couple or someone working from home — to give them the love and attention they’ve missed out on.

These two boys share a truly special bond, and after everything they’ve been through together, we are committed to finding them a home where they can stay side by side.
