I’m Callie and I came into the Sanctuary in 2023 along with all of my friends.

I had been living in a local village, spending my days enjoying the quiet garden and local countryside before popping Indoors to sleep in the kitchen of my Feeders house.  I lived with a lot of cat friends of all ages in my time in the village and got along with them all but a change in circumstance for our Feeder meant we all had to leave as there would be no-one to look after us.

I like life at the Sanctuary but I’d really like my own home again and my own family to look after me.

I’m sociable with all cats but I am a quiet girl. I think I’m around 6-7 years old so I’m content to mooch around without zoomies.  I can be shy with new people but I do like strokes. With some patience to help me find my confidence in a new home I will be just fine though.

I do need to join a family with an older cat already in residence, but I have friends here I could be adopted with too. I won’t like living on my own.

I’ve never met a dog so I’m not sure how I would be….but a quiet dog that had lived with cats before might be a nice new friend. I don’t mind older children, I’m used to teenagers but I’d be happy if my family was just adults too.

For my new home I’d like it to be a quiet, calm home. I’m not used to lots of noise and busy comings and goings. I’d like to be Indoors Only but with a little bit of access to the outdoors with a catio or cat proofed garden. I do enjoy the outside and the sun on my back.

IF my new home was in a very quiet rural location well away from busy roads (just like I came from) then I could be OK with this kind of safe outdoor access. A nice rural cottage with a big garden maybe?

I’m neutered of course (you can see my sweet ear tip) and microchipped. I’ll be fully vaccinated and up to date with all of my flea and wormers too. I also come with 5 weeks free insurance, very important.
