Remy is a truly magnificent black panther of a cat with such a loving nature, incredibly majestic but with a cheeky side of fun. He may or may not be a favourite (we’ll never admit it in front of the other cats!) both with us and his fellow felines. Remy simply exudes calmness and elegance.

Remy came to the Sanctuary with Pierre when he was around 4/5 months old. This beautiful duo had been living in a garden in London and as they were no longer kittens as far as the house owner was concerned their time was up. Whisked away to safety we offered them safe Sanctuary.

Remy and Pierre have bloomed into the most stunning and loving of cats. Playful, kind to other cats, loving of children they truly enjoy the comforts of home living.

We would love Remy to stay with Pierre as these boys have grown up together but Remy is friends with Noah too, in fact most cats migrate to him particularly the shyer girls. We would consider homing Remy with another of his Sanctuary friends or on his own for absolutely the right home provided there was another cat in residence.

Remy is about 3 years old now and although many tears will be shed we would love to see him in his own home, being lavished with the attention such a special cat deserves.

We are looking for an established and spacious home for Remy, one where his family would be around longer than away. If there were older or teenage humans around for extra cuddles we think this would suit him well as he is very inquisitive. Equally if his family parent(s) worked from home he’d be happy keeping them Company provided there was plenty of enrichment and playtime. Remy has never met a dog, so any dogs in the family would need to have lived with cats before and a slow introduction would be required.

We require Remy’s home to be a safe and comfortable one, almost certainly Indoors but with access to a catio or cat proofed garden as he loves taking in nature. As always with our Sanctuary cats we would consider a quiet rural home provided it was well away from fast busy roads and for Remy a relatively secluded one, so not in the centre of a village.

What is most important is a cat oriented safe and loving living environment.
